Chris Pearcy, originally from California, moved to Gulf Breeze with his family just before Hurricane Ivan in 2004. The devastation from that storm inspired him to help homeowners, builders, and commercial clients protect their properties with reliable, long-lasting roofing solutions.
With extensive experience in both residential and commercial roofing, Chris specializes in roofing and coatings, skills he’s honed over the years.
A proud Gulf Breeze resident, Chris and his family have embraced the small-town community, staying active in local youth sports and supporting causes close to their hearts, including autism awareness through their daughter, Brooke.
After over 20 years on the Gulf Coast, Chris’s mission has always been to run a small, honest business that treats people right. With a loyal crew that’s been with him for more than a decade, most of his business comes from referrals, friends, and family—a testament to the strong reputation Higher Ground Roofing has built.

The name Higher Ground Roofing is inspired by a place close to owner Chris’s heart: a simple cross atop the dunes on Pensacola Beach. This quiet symbol represents faith, strength, and protection—the dunes themselves shield the mainland from the Gulf’s fiercest storms.
This idea shapes Chris’s approach to every project. To him, a roof is more than just shingles and nails; it’s a reliable barrier, crafted with care and built to endure.
At Higher Ground Roofing, we make sure your roof is one you can trust when the weather turns. Is yours?
